Is to bring a whole new dimension to the

Cultural Heritage of Pensacola, West Florida and the Southeast

Through a comprehensive museum and learning center

Dedicated to the First Peoples of our region.

Native Paths Cultural Heritage

& Resource Center

This 1,700 sq. ft. house will serve as  PBT's new administrative headquarters for all present and future projects in service to our community.

It will also serve as a temporary mini version of our envisioned Muscogee Creek Cultural Heritage Museum and Learning Center - including a library and media center.

 

Future Building Plan

                 ● Comprehensive museum and learning center
                 ● Structure that blends into the natural environment
                 ● Sustainable/efficient energy & low maintenance design
                 ● A permanent home for PBT’s resource library, exhibits of art and artifacts,

                  and  other educational materials. 


Grounds Development Plan
                ● Clear walking trails
                ● Construction of traditional Southeastern Creek structures
                ● To show how early Indians lived
                ● To help demonstrate the People’s close relationship with nature.
                ● To provide open-air shelter for outdoor activities.
                ● Plant & Identify native plants used by the Southeastern Indians for food,
                    medicines, building materials, weapons, tools, transportation etc.

Functions and Activities
               ● A base of operation for all PBT educational programs and community

                  service activities
               ● A place of welcoming pride and participation for all American Indian people
               ● A place for research and learning for students at all levels
               ● A destination of interest to tourists and other visitors to Pensacola
