Walking Staff "Crazy Horse" The playful 'Crazy Horse' represents some of the first woodcarving Bearheart learned from his elders at an early age. He loves to tell the story of how his beloved clan uncle would respond to needs in the community. If he learned that someone needed a cane or walking staff, he would make one especially for them and decorate it with carvings and 'shinies.' These times were filled with many lessons in compassion and caring for the feelings and needs of others. A Bearheart Original Private Collection |
